Consent Agenda Item l.a <br />Case No. 5-07CW125: Application of American Gypsum Company <br />Application Summary <br />This is an application to amend a previously approved plan for augmentation in Eagle County near <br />Gypsum (see map). The Applicant's previously approved plan for augmentation vas based on a <br />maximum water requirement of 280 of per year di~~erted from the Initial Wells, Well F and the wells <br />in the American Gypsum Well Field. The exchange associated with this augmentation plan was <br />limited to 270 of per year. The Applicant has now determined that the maximum water requirement <br />may reach 336 of per year at full production. By this application, Applicant seeks an amendment to <br />the existing decree to: <br />1. Increase the existing annua1280 of water use limitation to 336 af. <br />2. Increase the existing annual 270 of exchange limitation to 336 af. The exchange rate will <br />remain the same at 1 cfs. <br />The Applicant claims that augmentation water held by Applicant is more than sufficient to allow the <br />proposed increases. The augmentation water is provided through a contract with the Colorado <br />River Water Conservancy District that includes releases from Wolford Mountain, Eagle Park and <br />Green Mountain Reservoirs. <br />CWCB Appropriation <br />The CWCB has appropriated the following instream flow water right that could be injured by this <br />application: <br />CWCB Stream/Lake Amount Approp.
