2. Claim: An application for water rights to protect the natural environment to a reasonable
degree in the Yarnpa River from the confluence with MOlTison Creek and extending to
the inlet of Lake Catamount, being a distance of approximately 5.4 miles.

3. Grounds for Objection: State facts as to why the application should not be grantedl or
why it should be granted only in part or on certain conditions:

a. The Opposer owns water rights diverted from the Yampa River and its tributa:,ics
upstream from the instream flow claim in this case, as well as other rights on
tributaries to the Yampa River.

b. The Applicant should be placed on strict proof of each element of its claim.
