Some of Mr. Griffith's technical <br />specialties include: <br /> <br />· Research in Weather Modification <br />· Design, Operation, and Evaluation of Operational Weather Modification Programs <br />· Synoptic Weather Forecasting <br />· Design, Operation, and Evaluation of Atmospheric Tracer Programs <br />· Applied Meteorological Applications <br />· Personnel and Project Management and Supervision <br />· Forensic Meteorology <br /> <br />REPRESENTATIVE EXPERIENCE <br /> <br />Mr. Griffith is currently serving as President of North American Weather Consultants (NA WC), <br />located in Salt Lake City, Utah. NA WC provides meteorological consulting services in applied <br />meteorology, probable maximum precipitation studies, and weather modification. He is <br />responsible for the overall management and supervision ofNA we and the technical direction <br />and supervision ofNA WC's weather modification activities. Mr. Griffith has directed these <br />activities since 1977. Activities include participation in field research programs in weather <br />modification and the design, conduct, and evaluation of operational cloud seeding programs. <br />Programs are conducted in the western United States and a number of foreign countries. <br /> <br /> <br />REPRESENTATIVE DOMESTIC WEATHER MODIFICATION RESEARCH AND <br />OPERATIONAL PROGRAMS <br /> <br />UtahlNational Oceanic and Atmospheric Administration Weather Modification Research <br />Program, 1983 to 1993. <br /> <br />Mr. Griffith has been involved in the planning, conduct, and data analysis of a long-term <br />research program funded by the National Oceanic and Atmospheric Administration (NOAA). <br />This program is designed to evaluate the cloud seeding potential of winter storms in Utah and <br />document the degree of success of a companion program being conducted by NA we to tap this <br />cloud seeding potential on an operational basis. NA WC's involvement on the research program <br />has included field program management, atmospheric tracer studies (both ground based and <br />airborne), operation of weather radar and ground based microphysics equipment, data reduction <br />and analysis. Several NA we employees have been involved in this research program. Mr. <br />Griffith has provided overall supervision of this research. <br /> <br />North DakotalNational Oceanic and Atmospheric Administration Weather Modification <br />Research Program, 1983 to 1993. <br />
