It is also recognized that on certain occasions, weather events, not previously forecast to
have a significant impact on people or property, develop into potentially serious situations.
NA WC's policy in these cases will be to monitor all available weather data during storm periods
and to suspend operations, whenever in NA WC's judgment, there is a potential for such an event
occurring. The sponsors of this project or authorized representatives of the Colorado Department
of Natural Resources may also request that seeding not be conducted under any special
circumstances.

NA WC's Sandy Operation's Center

11

In order for the project's meteorologist to effectively evaluate current and forecast
weather conditions and trends as they affect the project target areas, a complete and
comprehensive forecast center is maintained at the Operations Center in Sandy, Utah. This center
is equipped with four computers with T -I access to the internet. All necessary NWS forecasts,
watches, warnings and observations are available via the internet which will allow the project's
meteorologists to observe and track weather events and conditions as they approach and cross the
project area of interest.

10.
