In a letter dated
May 16,2001, P.E., William P. Ruzzo, P.E., LLC. requested that FEMA revise
the FIRM and FIS report to show the effects of updated topographic information and the following
projects along Greenwood Gulch: placement of fill and construction of fences and buildings from
approximately 250 feet upstream to approximately 1,250 feet upstream of South University Boulevard;
construction of a lake and placement of fill from approximately 1,550 feet upstream to approximately
2,750 feet upstream of South University Boulevard; and construction of two ponds and grading from
approximately 3,000 feet upstream to approximately 3,600 feet upstream of South University Boulevard.

All data required to complete our review of this request were submitted with letters from

We have completed our review of the submitted data and the flood data shown on the effective FIRM
and in the effective FIS report. We have revised the FIRM and FIS report to modify the elevations and
floodplain and floodway boundary delineations of the flood having a I-percent chance of being equaled
or exceeded in any given year (base flood) along Greenwood Gulch from approximately 650 feet
downstream to approximately 3,675 feet upstream of South University Boulevard. As a result of the
modifications, the Base Flood Elevations (BFEs) for Greenwood Gulch and the widths of the Special
Flood Hazard Area (SFHA), the area that would be inundated by the base flood, and the regulatory
flood way increased in some areas and decreased in other areas. The modifications are shown on the
enclosed annotated copies of FIRM Panel 08005COl65 J, Profile Panel 76P, and affected portions of the
Floodway Data Table. This Letter of Map Revision (LOMR) hereby revises the above-referenced panel
of the effective FIRM and the affected portions ofthe FIS report, both dated August 16, 1995.

The modifications are effective as of the date shown above. The map panel listed above and as modified
by this letter will be used for all flood insurance policies and renewals issued for your community.
