<br />Introduction <br /> <br />Great Western Institute, the Colorado WaterWise COUllCil, and Western Resource Advocates have prepared <br />this grant application for monies through the Water EfBciency Grant Fund created by HB 05-1254. Each of <br />our agencies has a prim,ary purpose to prOlnote water conservation and water use efficiency. The proposed <br />project "Water Conservation and Water Use Ef:11cienc)' Teclulical Support and Outreach" is directly linked <br />\vith the Inission and statutory responsibilities of the Colorado Water Conservation Board ('Boardn) and its <br />Office of Water Conservation and Drought Planning ("Office"), and has been developed, in part, from our <br />tealn ' s extensive kno,vledge of the policies, goals and needs of the Board and OffIce and through our <br />deliberate coordination in developing tins proj ect v\lith the Office's future plans for education and outreach. <br />We recogllize that execution of this proposed project can be satisfactorily performed only by <br />leveraging our close partllersllip ,"vith the Office and its available resources. <br /> <br />Note\vorthy is that the proposed project has also been developed '~lith close coordination and input from our <br />project stakeholders that ,."ill be providing support (e.g., cash, in-kind services, other support) during the <br />execution of this project.
