Ms. T. Petrone
October 26, 2007
Page 2

Project Obstacles

The workshops bave not been as successful as we would have liked regarding gettingmeD;lber
of the Basin Roundtables to participate in the workshops. The high attendance levels thus fa
indicate that there is a high level of interest in the topics covered, however, the lack Cj
roundtable member attendance points to the challenge in getting these individuals engaged i
tbe education and related policy dialogue tbat occurs at the workshops. Future workshops wi!
need to be planned and designed to engage more Basin Roundtable members, but also to engag
other key segments of water users (e.g., irrigators) through different scheduling methods, et(
We are encouraged by tbe Office's continued support and outreach to the roundtables, and ar
hopeful that our combined efforts will increase their level of participation.

Scope Changes

N one are expected

As you know, the relationsbip that we share is of vital importance to our organization. I 100]
forward to our continued mutually beneficial relationship and hope that you will call me witt
any questions or concerns you have regarding this project report, specifically, or the Wate
Conservation Workshops, in general. Thank you for aU your support and guidance in GWI'
efforts to serve the Office and the citizens of the State.
