Highways <br /> <br />I <br /> <br />(AP) DENVER Flooding forced the closure of two highways on Tuesday in northeastern Colorado, an area which received up to 8.2 inches of <br />rain over two days. <br /> <br />I <br /> <br />Colorado 23 and U.S. Highway 6 east of Holyoke were closed after heavy rains flooded small creeks and streams, the National Weather <br />Service sa id. <br /> <br />No injuries were reported and no houses were threatened by the flooding, Phillips County sheriffs dispatcher Larry Somerset said. <br /> <br />I <br /> <br />The Weather Service said a weather spotter reported 8.2 inches of rain in Phillips County 3.5 miles south of Venango, Neb.
