This list <br />was acquired from the Colorado Stale Map Modernization Managclllt:1l1 Support (MMMS) <br />Coordinator. Karen Price. who contacted each community's tloodplain ,ulministrator and CEO. <br />See APPl'IHIh: A for the listing of con un unity contacts. Following this initial c(J11versation. <br />questionnaires' regarding the community's mapping needs. ordinances, and available GIS data <br />were then distrihuh...-tl to the resJlective contacts within the community. It was requcsted that <br />these questionnaires he completed and returned no later than 30 days atler receipt in order to <br />include the results in this Pre-Seoping report. To view copies of the returned questionnaires see <br />I\ppclldix B. <br /> <br />3. Community Data <br /> <br />The Pre-Seoping process organized available relevant materials to fadlitate eftident Scoping. <br />This work involved acquiring data frummultiple sources in many fonnats. The data that was <br />g;.lthcred is summarized below for quick reference. More detailed infonnation can he f()und in <br />the accompanying attachments. <br /> <br />3.1. FIRM/FlS Reports <br />There are currently fourteen FIS reJlorts in Weld County, one li)f the unincorporated county arca. <br />and thirteen for incorporated cities and towns within the county. The county and thirteen studied <br />communities all have Flood Insurance Rate Maps (FIRMs). which they use as their Hood hazard <br />identitkation maps.
