Town. The <br />I <br />drainage problems in the central portions of the ITown impacts <br />businesses, streets, residences and the Cultural Cent~r which is a <br />major economic resource to the community. In a lette~ dated April <br />8, 1993, you stated that the Board staff would prepare a <br />reconna i ssance study for the Town wh i ch wou 1 d out!l i ne var. i ous <br />options. I understand that Mr. Charles Manzan~res was to <br />coord i nate the study. I have succeeded Mr" Manzanlares as Town <br />Administrator and have been unable to locate infdrmation with <br />regards to this particular study or any informatioh concer'ning <br />. I <br />optlons. : <br />I <br />Mr. Lile, this correspondence comes to you as a resJlt of having <br />I <br />received numerous complaints from homeowners whose basements and <br />crawl spaces are being flooded. They request that action be t;aken <br />soon as they have already expended thousands of do 1 liars for home. <br />repairs as a result of sub water drainage. Sir, th~re have been <br />threats of litigation: an unnecessary action, in my es~imation, for <br />an issue such as this.
