<br />... <br />).vI <br /> <br />The one-foot-rise floodway previously delineated along the Cache La Poudre River will be <br />adjusted according to the revised hydraulics. Based on discussions with the City, the CWCB and <br />FEMA Region VIII, a floodway will not be required along East 8th Street if the City will prevent <br />future development between the river and the U.S. Highway 85 bypass in the overflow area. <br /> <br />Hard copy maps with the revised flood plain and floodway delineations will be provided to the <br />City. The City will put the mapping into electronic form in its GIS. <br /> <br />The revised flood water surface profiles, mapping, write-up and technical back-up materials will <br />be provided to the CWCB for their review. Upon approval, the necessary information will be <br />provided to FEMA for revision to the official Flood Insurance Maps for Greeley and Weld <br />County. <br /> <br />Section 22 Feasibility Study <br /> <br />The purpose ofthis study is to prepare for a future Multi-purpose study for the Cache La Poudre <br />River floodplain in the City of Greeley. Tasks include: <br /> <br />Environmental Data: <br />Corps of Engineers Civil Works program requires the implementation of National Environmental <br />Policy Act (NEP A) as well as assuring compliance with other applicable environmental <br />protection requirements. The NEP A process will be accomplished by preparation of an <br />environmental assessment of the Greeley Multi Objective Feasibility Study. The list below <br />outlines the tasks to be accomplished for compliance with NEP A and associated environmental <br />protection requirements. The tasks are: <br /> <br />. Problem Identification <br />· Contract Environmental Studies <br />· Assist With Formulation and Evaluation of Alternatives <br />. Report Preparation <br />. Permitting Actions <br />· Public Meeting <br />· Quality Management Review <br /> <br />A cursory cultural resources information effort will also be conducted. Generally, a cultural <br />resources effort is directly proportional to the area disturbed. This effort will consist of a cultural <br />resources literature and background search for the area in the Cache La Poudre River floodplain <br />in Greeley. <br /> <br />Cost Estimate <br />Estimated costs for the tasks outlined in this scope of services are provided below. <br /> <br />The cost of the additional floodplain management services work is: <br />The cost of the Section 22 feasibility study work is: <br />Total Cost <br /> <br />$8,000 <br /> <br />$9,000 <br /> <br />$17,000 <br /> <br />2 <br /> <br />
