3.3.2 TDMA data <br />The focus of the CCN measurements was on a number of relatively brief flight segments that preceded <br />convective cloud penetration. The days and time intervals of these flights are provided in Table 5. The <br />corresponding time intervals of the TDMA sequences completed during the same time periods are <br />identified in the table as well. For each of these measurement sequences, the size and hygroscopicity <br />distributions were coupled to produce CCN spectra using the approach described in a separate document <br />(attached) entitled “Particle size and hygroscopicity measurements during SPECTRA”. The measured <br />distributions and computed CCN spectra for each of the identified intervals are shown in section 4.4 and <br />in the report “Particle size and hygroscopicity measurements during SPECTRA”.
