For this project, the instrument cycled through supersaturations of 0.3, 0.5, 0.7, and 1.0%
in a period of less than 10 minutes. These values span most of the range of
supersaturations expected in typical convective clouds over the High Plains. (Politovich
et al., 1988; DeMott et al., 1996)
