Established national environmental policy-it established our <br />nation's environmental ethic <br />. Requires all Federal agencies to consider the impacts of their <br />activities on the environment and do everything within their means <br />to ensure Americans can live in harmony with their environment <br />. Established the Council on Environmental Quality (CEQ) within the <br />Office of the President <br />. CEQ developed Implementing Regulations for NEPA and each <br />agency was directed to develop it's own procedures based on CEQ <br />Regulations. <br /> <br />.rRECLAMA TION DEVELOPED AND USES A NEPA HANDBOOK BASED <br />ON CEQ REGULATIONS AND THE DOl MANUAL (Revised version of the <br />Handbook is pending) <br /> <br />.rAU.
