<br /> <br />002160 <br /> <br />18 <br /> <br />CHAPTER 2 <br /> <br />ST AKEHOLDER INFORMATION NEEDS <br />WHICH GUIDE THE FY 99 ANNUAL PLAN <br /> <br />DEVELOPING STAKEHOLDER OBJECTIVES <br /> <br />In 1996 the Bureau of Reclamation worked with a subgroup of the Transition Work <br /> <br />Group to develop stakeholder objectives to guide future monitoring and research programs of the <br /> <br />GCMRC. This group was disbanded with release of their July, 1996l' recommendations. <br /> <br />All of the stakeholder objectives may be found in the Strategic Plan. The AMWG has <br /> <br />decided to develop, review and/or revise stakeholder objectives in all programs in FY 98. <br /> <br />IDENTIFIED INFORMATION NEEDS <br /> <br />A synopsis of the information needsll in each resource area is presented in the following <br /> <br />text. These information needs were the primary basis for developing bothFY 98 and FY 99 <br /> <br />monitoring, research, and information transfer programs for the GCMRC. They are also the basis <br /> <br />for continuation of FY 98 physical and biological science activities with minimal modifications <br /> <br />through at least FY 99. In the cultural resource area, some information needs were predefined, <br /> <br />based on ongoing activities within the Progranunatic Agreement.21 <br /> <br />l!
