Reservoir Recreation <br /> <br />At the upper end of the Arkansas basin, Turquoise Reservoir, Twin Lakes, and Clear Creek <br />Reservoir provide shoreline and boat angling opportunities in a scenic, high altitude <br />mountain setting. Turquoise and Twin Lakes are located within the San Isabel National <br />Forest and recreation activities are managed by the U.S. Forest Service. Clear Creek <br />Reservoir is owned and operated by the Pueblo Water Board. Recreation facilities, are <br />minimal and are maintained by the Division of Wildlife. <br /> <br />, , <br />At the downstream end of the study area, Pueblo Reservoir offers opportunities for more <br />intensive water-sports including power boating, water skiing, jet skiing, and sail boarding. <br />Pueblo Reservoir also supports an excellent fishery. Lake Pueblo State' Park which <br />surrounds the reservoir is one of the heaviest used State Parks in Colorado accommodating <br />over 1 million visitors a year. <br /> <br />Water based recreation values for the four basin reservoirs are listed in Table 3.2 below. <br /> <br />Table 3.2 .
