Robert ~. <br />Wil~ia, Commissioner for the State of Nebraska, acting ~y <br />appoin tmea:t of the Governor.. It was execute.din du plicate origi- <br />nals, one. of which bas. been depesi tad with the Secre.tary ~ <br />state of' each of the signatory states, and the c.ompact will <br />'become operative -when approved b1 the Legislature ot 'ea.ch of <br />'he signa tory State s and by the Congress c -r the Un! tad sta.t es. <br />The compac'i generally provides as :tallows: <br />For purposes of a~niatration, the South 21atte <br />RiTer in Colorado is di.,ided into two sections. Th8 "Upper <br />SectiQn~ includes that part of the South Platte river in Colo- <br />rado above the intersection of the riTer with the weat boundar,r <br />o~ Washingtoft County (east boundar, o~ Morgan county). The <br />-Lower SectionN corresponds with Water District No. 64 and 1. <br />tha.t part of the South Platte RiTer in Colorado between the <br />west boundary 01 Waahill~.on, County and 'the illtersecti,on of the <br /> <br />-1- <br />
