developments on the Western Slope - Cathy Kay of the Western Colorado Congress will
discuss the impacts of oil shale and oil and gas development on Colorado's streams and
rivers, including salinity impacts, sedimentation and impacts to streamflows. (2:15 - 2:35)

8. Water Supply Protection Section - Request to obtain authorization to expend funds from
the Litigation Fund to defend and protect Colorado's allocation of water from the Colorado
River. The Board will be asked to authorize the expenditure of funds from the litigation
account to continue work necessary for Colorado's protection of its Colorado River compact
