The loan is for 30 years without interest. <br /> <br />The Board's action on the $1,700,000 loan request will be included in the year 2001 <br />CWCB Water Projects Bill and is subject to authorization by the General Assembly. If <br />authorized by the General Assembly, the loan funds should be available in June of2001. <br /> <br />The Board's recommendation for funding is conditioned upon the following: <br /> <br />I. The design of the proj ect is approved by the State Engineer's Office; <br /> <br />2. Any required permits are obtained; <br /> <br />3. Statc Parks and the Jackson Lake Reservoir and Irrigation Company will enter into a <br />revised lease agreement for Jackson Lake State Park; and <br /> <br />4. As collateral for the loan, Parks will pledge the special account that has been <br />established for repayment of the loan with the Office of the State Treasurer as well ac <br />any and all other revenues v,'hich may be required for loan repayment. <br /> <br />Please coordinate with Linda Bassi of the Attorneys General's Office on all matters <br />related to contracting. She will be responsible for drafting and processing of contract <br />documents. No funds may be disbursed until a fully executed contract is in place. <br /> <br />Tim Feehan of this office will be rcsponsible for reviewing the project plans and <br />specifications and for all matters related to project construction including approval of <br /> <br />Flood Protection.
