The Owl Creek Supply <br />and Irrigation Company operates the ditch to transport water to 145 shareholders for irrigation within the <br />12,000-acre service area. The hydraulic structures on 'the ditch are in poor condition and the Company <br />plans to rehabilitate or replace them in 2001 and 2002. The average annual volume transported is 30,000 <br />acre-feet. The Owl Creek Supply and Irrigation Company is a mutual ditch company and a nonprofit <br />corporation registered in the State of Colorado. Duane Smith P.E. of Smith Geotechnical has completed <br />the feasibility study. Proposed funding for the project consists of a CWCS loan for $450,000, and $50,000 <br />from the Company.
