<br />Task Summary <br /> <br />Section 1 <br /> <br />The Scope of \;\1 ork is divided into four sections as suggested in the Grant <br />Application Instructions. Section 1 provides a description of each major task <br />associated with the project along with a functional description of who will be <br />completing the work and a description of the delivera bles associated with the <br />task. Section 2 lists the key personnel proposed for the project along with a brief <br />description of the relevant project experience. Section 3 presents a detailed <br />breakdown of the costs to complete the pilot study, and Section 4 presents the <br />proposed Project Schedule. <br /> <br />Task 1 - Develop Testing Work Plan and Test Protocols <br /> <br />A testing work plan will be developed describing the objectives of the equipment <br />testing, the associated test parameters, proposed test parameters, activities of <br />the pilot plant staff during the proposed 6<month test period, project <br />communication and documentation requirements, and Health and Safety <br />requirements <br /> <br />'IIIl Assumptions: Detailed operational requirements for the equipment will be <br />described in the operations and maintenance (0&"",1) manuals supplied by <br />the equipment vendors <br /> <br />'IIIl Deliverables: 5 copies of the Draft \tv ork Plan will be submitted for review by <br />East Cherry Creek Valley \tVater and Sanitation District (ECCV), and 15 <br />copies of the finalized document will be prepared for use by Pilot Plant Staff <br />and referenced by ECCV and Funding Agency <br /> <br />'IIIl Level of Effort: 80 hours for Project Engineer and 20 hours for Pilot Plant <br />Manager <br /> <br />Task 2 - Final Design of Pilot Test Equipment and Ancillary <br />Components <br /> <br />An extensive network of piping, electrical wiring, and ancillary equipment will <br />be required to connect the equipment into a functional treatment system Piping <br />schematics, wiring diagrams, and layout drawings will be prepared to allow the <br />construction staff to install the equipment The installation of the equipment <br />and ancillary components will be designed to the building code requirements for <br />temporary facilities. <br /> <br />'IIIl Assumptions: An electrical subfeed will be provided from the main treatment <br />plant building and a power distribution panel set along with local disconnects <br />each of the Pilot Plant trailers. Electrical and instrumentation wiring plans <br />will be prepared for each treatment process Process now diagrams and piping <br />schematics showing all the tanks, pumps, and in<line instruments will be <br />prepared for by plumbers to connect the various components.
