<br />The By - Laws of the RGRT require a simple majority vote of those M embers present for <br />any a ction to be tak en by the Roundtable. The vote was unanimous in favor of this project <br />moving forward for funding . <br /> <br />As stated above, t he RGRT has determined that the single, most critical water issue <br />confronting the Rio Grande Basin is the current unsustainable managemen t of surface and <br />ground water. This project supports the broader efforts of the Rio Grande Water Conservancy <br />and other parties in the San Luis Valley in addressing this critical issue by improving the <br />functions of the Alamosa River.
