The District 64 Reservoir Company was formed by the owners of water rights in the Lower South Platte near
Julesburg Colorado. This company was formed to purchase the water rights, engineering and legal documents and
title to the land where the Ovid Reservoir is planned and for other purposes relating to the provision of a water
supply for the area. It was formed as a non-profit mutual ditch and reservoir company.
