Beyond this, our two ditch <br />companies, rooted in the traditions of the old Spanish land - grant acequias and representing some of the earliest water <br />rights in Colorado , are hereby helping the State meet its Compact obligation . By stabilizing the Conejos River and <br />enhancing fish habitat and riparian areas we benefit everyone who lives and farms here.
