Water Availability and Sustainability - this infonnation is needed to assess the viability and <br />effectiveness of the water project or activity. Please provide a description of each water supply source <br />to be utilized for, or the water body to be affected by, the water activity. For water supply sources <br />being utilized, describe its location, yield, extent of development, and water right status. For water <br />bodies being affected, describe its location, extent of development, and the expected effect of the water <br />activity on the water body, in either case, the analysis should take into consideration a reasonable <br />range of hydrologic variation. Attach additional sheets as needed. <br /> <br />Sources of water for The Company include: Leroux Creek, Roatcap Gulch, Terror Creek, Hubbard <br />Creek, Elk Creek, and Cow Creek. The Reservoir is located on Cow Creek. The Overland <br />Shareholders own seven direct flow rights with adjudication dates ranging from 1908 to 1954 and <br />total direct flow rights of 214.7 cubic feet per second. The Overland shareholders also hold four <br />absolute storage and one conditional storage rights with adjudication dates ranging from 1914 to <br />1954 totaling 7,171 acre-feet. These rights are amply supplied during the early part of the season by inflow <br />originating below the Overland Reservoir. During the latter part of the summer all normal inflow <br />(approximately 1.5 to 2.0 cfs) is by-passed to satisfy these rights./I <br /> <br />8.
