<br />THE COLORADO BASIN ROUNDTABLE <br />C/O PO BOX 1120 <br />GLENWOOD SPRINGS, COLORADO <br />81602 <br /> <br />July 19,2007 <br /> <br />Mr. Rick Brown <br />Intrastate Water Management and Development Section <br />COLORADO WATER CONSERVATION BOARD <br />1580 Logan Street, Suite 600 <br />Denver, CO 80203 <br /> <br />Dear Rick: <br /> <br />At the June 25th, 2007 Colorado Basin Roundtable (CBRT) meeting, the membership <br />voted to pursue several projects, and are requesting that funding be allocated from the <br />various funding sources available to support these projects. <br /> <br />At the June 25th meeting, funding requests were considered for the following <br />projects: <br /> <br />PROJECT AND AMOUNT REQUESTED SOURCE <br />MIssoURI HEIGHTS GW MONITORING $25,000 BASIN <br />BULL CREEK RESERVOm No 4 $50,000 BASIN <br />BULL CREEK RESERVOIR No.5 REHAB & ENLARGE . $120,000 STATE-WIDE <br /> <br />Project proponents made presentations at the May meeting and answered <br />questions from the Roundtable Members. There were items to be addressed, and <br />proponents were asked to address these questions and return to the June Meeting. <br /> <br />The following is the extract from the Minutes of the June Meeting: <br /> <br />1. Votes to approve all 3 funding requests: <br /> <br />a. The Missouri Heights well monitoring grant request for $25,000 from the <br />Basin Reserve Account was approved with 22 votes in favor and 0 opposed. <br /> <br />i. Art Bowles said that the well monitoring study would investigate <br />water quality as well as water quantity and this would add about <br />$3,000 to the cost; the grant request remained at $25,000 however. <br />
