The grant request to improve Bull Creek Reservoir No. 4 for $120,000 from the Statewide Funding Account was approved with 22 votes in favor and 0 opposed. c. The grant request to study the spillway at Bull Creek Reservoir No. 5 for $50,000 from the Basin Funding Account was approved with 20 votes in favor and 1 opposed. Phil Overeynder opposed the grant request because he did not feel that Bull Creek Reservoir Company adequately explained how it would pay for the spillway improvements once the engineering studies were complete. As a result of the discussion, review and balloting, the Colorado Basin Roundtable wishes to recommend the following projects for funding, to be considered at the September meeting of the Colorado Water Conservation Board. We understand that the Bull Creek Reservoir Applications are already at your office. We have also established a "Project Consideration Proceedures Committee" to develop timelines and written procedures for Project Review and Balloting. These projects went through this committee for review prior to [mal action. The Colorado Basin Roundtable appreciates the support of the Department of Natural Resources, the Colorado Water Conservation Board and the Interbasin Compact Committee in furthering the development of Colorado's water and in fostering interbasin communications and discussions.
