Introductions were made around the table. The Executive Committee meeting was held in <br />LeGourmet Room at the Sheridan Holiday Inn. <br /> <br />. <br /> <br />APPROVAL OF MINUTES <br /> <br />The minutes of the meeting held in Breckenridge, Colorado on July 20, 2006 were moved for <br />approval. The motion was seconded and the minutes were unanimously approved. <br /> <br />REPORT ON BUDGET AND FINANCES <br /> <br />A. FY 2005-2006 Year End: Status <br /> <br />Weir Labatt called attention to Tab D. The balance sheets shows a total equity of $602,000 at <br />this point in time. We have received most of the dues, thus the figure is higher at this point in time. <br />Expenditures will be coming out of that amount throughout this fiscal year. <br /> <br />Looking at the profit and loss. statement in connection with the budget, nearly all of the income <br />for the year is reflected on the report. ' The key is the total expense line on the second page of the profit <br />and loss statement. It shows actual expenditures of $79,000 in the year to date budget, which reflects the <br />period of July through August of $75,000. This is $3700 over budget, but that is really a reflection of the <br />amount the Council agreed to allow f9r staffing of law clerks over the summer months. The law clerks <br />are now working on a part-time basis, and this figure will come back in alignment, and we'll be back on a <br />balanced budget before the end of the year. <br /> <br />B. Dues Payment Report for FY07 <br /> <br />Duane Smith reminded member states that the dues for FY2007-2008 have been increased by . <br />$2,000. He further noted that the reserves fund is available.
