Federal Emergency Management Agency
Washington, D.C. 20472
JUN 261997

~

Wellington, Colorado 80549

IN REPLY REFER TO CASE NO. 97-08-181A
Community: Larimer County, Colorado
Community No.: 080101
Map Panel Affected: 0087 B
Map Effective Date: April 2, 1979
218-70-0S

...

Dear

We reviewed your request dated February 9, 1997, for a Letter of Map Amendment. All required information
for this request was received on May/i9, 1997. Using the information submitted and the effective National Flood
Insurance Program (NFIP) map, wedetermined portions of the property described below are in a Special Flood
Hazard Area (SFHA), the area that would be inundated by the flood having a I-percent chance of being equaled
or exceeded in any given year (base flood); however, the structure on the property is not in the SFHA.

Property Description: Portion of Section 12, Township 10 North, Range 69 West, Sixth Principal
Meridian, as described in the Warranty Deed recorded as Reception
No. 93060458, in the Office of the Recorder, Larimer County, Colorado

Street Address:

18350 North County Road 15

Flooding Source:

Rawhide Creek

The structure is correctly shown outside the SFHA on the above-referenced NFIP map. The structure is in
Zone C, an area of minimal flooding outside the SFHA. Because portions of the property remain in the SFHA,
any future construction or substantial improvement on the property remains subject to Federal, State, and local
regulations for floodplain management.

The enclosed document provides additional information about Letters of Map Amendment. If you have any
questions about this letter, please contact Ms. Agnes De Coca of our staff in Washington, DC, either by telephone
at (202) 646-2746 or by facsimile at (202) 646-4596.

Sincerely,

~~~cr
Frederick H.
