The name of the natural stream is: <br />San Miguel River <br /> <br />3. The source of the water is: <br />San Miguel River, tributary to the San Miguel River. <br /> <br />4. Legal description of the stream segment through which an instream flow is <br />claimed: <br /> <br />The Confluence of Fall Creek at latitude 370 59' 35"N and longitude I OSO 0 I' <br />27"Was the upstream tenninus and extending to a point immediately upstream of <br />the confluence of Horsefly Creek at latitude 380 12' 19''N and longitude JOSo 18" <br />44"W as the downstream terminus, being a distance of approximately 24.1 miles. <br />This segment can be located on the Norwood, Sanborn Park, Gurley Canyon, <br />Placerville, and Little Cone u.s.a.s. quadrangles. <br /> <br />5. Use of water: <br /> <br />Instream flow to preserve the natural environment to a reasonable degree. <br /> <br />6. Date of initiation of appropriation: <br /> <br />January 23, 2002 <br /> <br />7. The water was first applied to the above beneficial use on January 23, 2002, by <br />action of the Colorado Water Conservation Board under the provision of C.R.S. <br />~~ 37-92-102(3), 37-92-103(3), (4), (10). <br /> <br />8. Amount of water claimed (ABSOLUTE): Instream flow of 93.0 cfs (May 1 _ <br />October 14); 61.0 cfs (October 15 - April 30). <br /> <br />
