These applications have unanimous approval by SWR. <br />Sent simultaneously with this email are: <br /> <br />1) Two files ("Basin App Email # I" and "Basin App Email #2") which is the <br />application from the MWCD for $80,000 from the SW Basin fund <br /> <br />2) and two files ("State App Email #1" and "State App Email #2") which is the <br />application from the MWCD for $20,000 from the State Fund. <br /> <br />SWR agreed to fund the extensive $80,000 study by the MWCD to increase the capacity <br />of the existing Jackson Gulch Reservoir by raising the crest of the dam about 5 to 6 feet. <br />SWR is requesting that the State fund a simultaneous $20,000 study to determine if an <br />existing borrow pit near the Reservoir would be suitable for water storage. <br /> <br />SW highly recommends that the CWCB approve funding of this critical project from a <br />combination of the SW and State "pools" ofSB179 funds.
