This community is characterized by the Fremont cottonwood, narrow leaf <br />cottonwood, and occasional sandbar willow. <br /> <br />5, Wetland communities are observed in the Chicken Creek drainage, the inlet canal area, and <br />the area of the outlet canal. Chicken creek wetlands occur at the northwestern State park <br />boundary and are dominated by sandbar willow, wild iris, and species of sedge.
