Stability and Reliability <br />The City's main source of supply for its potable system is the Colorado River. <br />The City owns and operates a surface intake on the rivJr, an off-channel raw <br />I <br />water settling pond with an approximate capacity of 90 million gallons, and a raw <br />watc~r pump station to divert water to its treatment facility] Table 6 summarizes <br />the City's water rights. The City has senior and junior tights in the Colorado <br />River, plus augmentation water in Ruedi Reservoir that prbvide it with a reliable <br />supply to meet current needs and a portion of its future nebds.
