Don Morrison <br />(Greenwood Village) and Larry Lang (Colorado Water Conservation Board) jointly chaired the meeting. <br /> <br />The discussion items for the meetin!! were: <br /> <br />1. Lang's May 20, 1999 agenda (see attached) <br />2. Why a technical review of the Corps' Cherry Creek dam safety study is needed <br />3. Historical data for the Cherry Creek basin <br />4. What is a reasonable PMP event? <br />5. Cherry Creek Dam characteristics <br />6. List of recognized PMP experts <br /> <br />Kev issues and responses resultin!! from the meetine:: <br /> <br />The group's members were generally appreciative of the CWCB's concern for addressing their issues and <br />working with the Corps to receive an endorsement/acceptance of the new study findings and <br />recommendations. <br /> <br />Responses to why a technical review of the Corps' dam safety study is needed: <br /> <br />· 400 people attended a public meeting regarding the Corps' study. These 400 people were not in blind <br />agreement with accepting the existing proposal <br />
