However, <br />there is a need"to use depletion schedules for long:-range planning and power-rate studies on <br />,,'.a continuing basis, The Upper Division States, through the Commission, recognize this <br />ongoing need and have been actively reviewing and revising estimates of future uses of <br />Colorado River water in their respective States, These reviews have been completed <br />utilizing the most recent information on future water, power and energy developments. <br /> <br />Upper Division States depletion schedules were revised in July 1994 and also revised <br />unofficially in 1996. The Upper Colorado River Commission at its December 15, 1999 <br />meeting passed a resolution not objecting to the use of the January 2000 States' depletions <br />schedule for planning and water supply studies as appropriate.
