This Letter of Map Revision (LOMR) hereby revises effective <br />FIRM Panels 085072 0001 Band 0002 B dated February 19, 1992; and the affected portions ofthe FIS <br />report for your community dated February 19, 1992. <br /> <br />Because this revision request also affects the unincorporated areas of Jefferson County, a separate <br />LOMR for that community was issued on the same date as this LOMR. <br /> <br />The modifications are effective as of the date shown above. A copy ofthis notification is enclosed. In addition, a notice of <br />changes will be published in the Federal Register. Within 90 days of the second publication in the <br />Arvada Sentinel, any interested party may request that FEMA reconsider the determination made by this <br />LOMR. Any request for reconsideration must be based on scientific or technical data. All interested <br />parties are on notice that, until the 90-day period elapses, the determination to modify the BFEs made by <br />this LOMR may itself be modified. <br /> <br />Because this LOMR will not be printed and distributed to primary users, such as local insurance agents <br />and mortgage lenders, your community will serve as a repository for these new data. We encourage you <br />to disseminate the information reflected by this LOMR throughout the community, so that interested <br />persons, such as property owners, local insurance agents, and mortgage lenders, may benefit from the <br />information. We also encourage you to prepare a related article for publication in your community's <br />local newspaper. This article should describe the assistance that officials of your community will give to <br />interested persons by providing these data and interpreting the NFIP maps. <br /> <br />We are preparing a revised FIRM and FIS report for Jefferson County in our countywide format; <br />therefore, we will not physically revise and republish the FIRM and FIS report for your community to <br />incorporate the modifications made by this LOMR at this time. Revised Preliminary copies ofthe <br />countywide FIRM and FIS report, which present information from the effective FIRMs and FIS reports <br />for your community and other incorporated communities in Jefferson County, were submitted to your <br />community for review on November 29, 2000. Flood hazard information from effective FIRM <br />Panels 085072 0001 Band 0002 B for the City of Arvada is now shown on Revised Preliminary FIRM <br />Panel 08059C0183 E for Jefferson County, Colorado and Incorporated Areas. Updated road base <br />information for your community has been incorporated into the Revised Preliminary FIRM. For display <br />purposes, this updated road base and corporate limits information also is shown on the enclosed <br />
