The CWCB's Office of Water Conservation & Drought Planning (OWCDP), has
determined the Plan to be in accordance with S37-60-126 and the CWCB's Guidelines for the Office to Review Water
Conservation Plans Submitted by Covered Entities. The OWCDP retained the services of Aquacraft Inc., a water
engineering and management company, to evaluate and review pending water conservation plans submitted to the State for
approval. Northglenn's was one of those plans. The Plan is hereby approved and Northglenn may proceed with its
implementation. I am enclosing a copy of the Plan evaluation for your review and records.

The Plan will be kept on file at the CWCB and shall be accessible to the public through our website and the Water
Resource Information Center. The Plan will also be made available to the Colorado Water Resources & Power
Development Authority and the Water Supply Planning & Finance section within the CWCB should you apply for a loan
from either agency.

Due to the legislative intent of the Water Conservation Act of 2004, the Office may contact you to discuss how your
conservation planning and implementation efforts are progressing. As Northglenn begins implementing the conservation
measures outlined in the Plan, please be aware that the CWCB has grant monies available to assist entities, with approved
plans, in their efforts to implement those measures. I have enclosed a brochure providing a general overview of the Water
Efficiency Grant Program and encourage Northglenn to apply.

Thank you again for all your efforts in developing a Water Conservation Plan. Should you have any questions or need
additional assistance, please feel free to contact me.

Sincerely,

Veva McCaig
Section Chief
Office of Water Conservation & Drought Planning

cc: Laura Belanger, Hydrosphere Resource Consultants, Inc.
Mike Brod, Colorado Water Resources & Power Development Authority
Mike Serlet, CWCB Water Supply Planning & Finance Section

Flood Protection · Water Supply Planning and Finance · Stream and Lake Protection
Water Supply Protection · Conservation and Drought Planning
