<br />ARKANSAS BASIN <br /> <br />Basinwide Conditions Assessment <br />The SWSI value for the month was 0.6. Flow at the <br />gaging station Arkansas River near Portland was 2169 cfs, <br />as compared to the long-term average of 2286 cfs. Storage <br />in Turquoise, Twin Lakes, Pueblo, and John Martin <br />reservoirs totaled 1130/0 of normal as of the end of June. <br /> <br />Outlook <br />Stream flows in June continued strong with a peak <br />the week of June 17th at most mainstem gages, although <br />some gages actually had a higher peak in May. The <br />Arkansas River call began the month set at the Twin Lakes <br />Reservoir 12/15/1896 priority.
