OOl~~,b

-

superficial waters captured in the Rodriguez - and the Emilio Lopez Zamora Dams, as
well as some aquifers that when backups beyond their average, allow us to temporarily

feed the extractions. Extractions are natural forces we have no control. over. But there

are others do depend on us, and which allow us to decide during the periods of highest
volume or simply the projections of water demand of the current Aqueduct, and of the
project will give after the year 2025. Among these actions we propose.the following:

ENSENADA

t

· Reduce losses
. Construction of recycling systems for the treated residual waters
.. Acquisition of water rights of the aquifers currently supplying the city
. Construction of the Santa Rosa Dam
. Construction of the Gallo - and the San Carlos Dams (Avenue and supply control
of potable water)
. Construction of saltwater purifying plant (pilot plant)

MEXICALI

· Reduce losses

. Recycling of treated waters in green areas, industrial applications, etc.

· Acquisition of irrigation rights

TECATE

· Reduce losses

. Recycling of treated waters in green areas, industrial applications, etc.

· Construction of impermeable screen in San Jose

It

20
