As the crop information for the unknown fields is derived from the <br />classified TM image data, these data are merged with the known fields. The <br />vector database has been developed on a USGS 7.5 minute quad basis. To <br />simplify data management, the majority rule processing is also being <br />conducted by quad. <br /> <br />Statistics Generation <br /> <br />As processing for each drainage basin is completed, acreage statistics <br />are generated. Acreages are calculated for each crop type within a given <br />quad. Totals are generated to provide acreages, by crop type, for the entire <br />.draillage basin.IDtimately, these statisti<:swillbe compiled using the USGS <br />HUC(hydrolQgicunitcode),boundaries~ . This will insure that crop . acreages <br />are organizediIlto natural watersheds rather than along arbitrary quad. or <br />county boundaries. <br /> <br />CURRENT STATUS <br /> <br />Colorado <br /> <br />, Table 1 reflectsthe current stage of completion for each of the 10 <br />major watershed subareas. Currently, the state of Colorado is reviewing <br />plots for the following drainage basins: main stem of the Colorado River, <br />the White River, and the Yampa. They anticipate having the plots corrected <br />and returned to D-3744 by June 1994. <br /> <br /> <br />ThreesateUite images that cover the SanJuan, San Miguel, and about <br />60% of the Gunnison basins, have been purchased and delivered to D-3744. <br />Processing for the San Juan Basin has been completed. Analysis of the <br />Gunnison Basin should begin by the end of November and completed by the <br />end of January.
