The IBCC brainstormed possible topics for future meetings. The next meeting will include

discussion of the progress report to be presented to the L egislature on October 31 , as well as
follow - up reports from each of the three committees/ working groups. Additional topic s
suggested for future meetings included : urban water use criteria , SWSI 2 , long - range water
issues in Colorado an d specific critical topics such as the Ogallala aquifer and allocation of
Colorado R iver water.
