The following action items
came out of the meeting:

The Public Education, Participation, and Outreach Work Group requested each
ro undtable identify an individual as an educational liaison. The proposal will be distributed prior to the next
IBCC meeting and will be an agenda item.

As the legislative session wraps up in May, we will know what our budget is for
the coming year. Harris Sherman will work with his staff on budget decisions and
m ay wish to form a budget sub - committee of the IBCC.

Cross basin education was identified as an area that needs further attention. Staff,
with the assistance of CDM, will draft language about the important issues in each
basin. The roundtables will have an opportunity to edit and revise. This text will
be used on the IBCC website and in other areas as appropriate.

Staff will prepare a list of “common technical platform” issues.

th
The IBCC decided to change their June meeting date. They will meet June 19 in
Montrose. The purpose of this change was to meet following the 4 Roundtable Caucus (a
th
meeting of the 4 Colorado River Basin Roundtables on June 18 ).

The next meeting of the IBCC will be May 9, 2007. It will be held in Lakewood, CO in
conjunction with the Metro Roundtable meeting.
