Supplies : The supplies are split between copy costs and long distance calling costs. We expect to use
a pproximately $100 for copies including the hardcopies of the survey , Institutional Review Board
application, and final report. At $0.05 per page, it allows for 2000 copies over the course of the
project. The remaining $ 80 in supplies is allocated for long distance charges incurred w hile
contacting roundtable members to gather contact information and calling water stakeholders to
recruit for participation in the survey. The univer sity long distance rate is $0.08 , allowing for 1000
minutes of long distance calls over the course of the project.

Travel to Roundtable Meetings : $ 365 is allocated for travel to two Colorado basin roundtable
meetings (April and September , each roundtrip is 432 miles x 2 = 864 miles ) to implement the
survey and present the findings, travel to meet with the ro undtable chair to discuss implementation
of the survey if needed (will arrange meeting in Denver, 121 miles) , and to travel to one IBCC
Education Subcommittee meeting to present the findings (roundtrip 121 miles) . The university
mileage reimbursement rate is $0.33 per mile, for a total of 1106 miles.

Indirect : The state negotiated indirect cost rate with Colorado State University is 33%, for a total of
$ 4,322 in indirect costs.

4
