<br />WATER EDUCATION/ WATER INTERESTED GROUPS <br />Work with Reagan Waskom, CSU, to update and expand Water Education Groups database <br />Work through water education groups to get out the message ab out the 1177 process and ways to participate, and <br />educational programs on water <br />Reagan will find a grad student to enhance and update the earlier research effort he showed us so we can: <br /> Make groups aware of our website <br /> Provide links from our website to them <br /> Set up communication between them and our coordinator for “hot news” <br /> <br />Interested <br />Soon, we want to develop a Water Groups List/Database <br />Purpose: to communicate to them about our website, get them in the loop about the 1177 process <br />Water interested groups ripe to receive the info — better than starting with general public <br /> <br /> <br /> <br /> <br /> <br />ROUNDTABLE (and IBCC) EDUCATION <br />Find presentors on particular subjects as requested by roundtables <br />Serve as a clearinghouse for presentors who want to present to the roundtables <br />Headwaters Magazine for every roundtable member <br />Work with CFWE to feature roundtables and basin challenges in each issue of Headwaters <br />Update CFWE notebooks as new Citizen Guides are available <br />Continued spotlight on each basin and its challenges at ea ch IBCC meeting <br />Statewide Educational programs to which all roundtables and public invited <br />Encourage IBCC to be very specific about input requested of each roundtable (put in writing when possible) <br />Encourage roundtables to expand to a broader audience their maillists for meeting notices/agendas/minutes <br />No funding for presentors of education programs at this time — maybe considered later <br /> <br /> 14 <br />
