Technical Support for the Basin Roundtables – Needs Assessment
Work Plan Development and Project Management Assistance

Funding Requested: $45,000

1. 8.2 Yampa/White Basin Roundtable Tasks Authorized under Task Order
2007 - 003
The Yampa/White Basin Roundtable non - consumptive needs assessment
subcommittee should review the Colorado Basin Roundtable's non - consumptive
needs work plan outline so that the two basins can work together in developing a
work plan for their basins. The current Yampa/White work plan outline is an element
of the Colorado Basin work plan. The Consultant will meet with the non -
consumptive needs assessment committee three times between March 2007 and June
30, 2007 to discuss progress on the work plan for the non - consumptive needs
assessment.
In addition to the non - consumptive needs work plan, the Consultant will prepare
initial sections of a work plan document for conducting the Energy needs study. The
Consultant will meet with the Energy needs subcommittee once during March
through June 30, 2007 to discuss further completion of this work plan.
Deliverables: 1) Draft and final w ork plan for addressing non - consumptive needs; 2)
Initial s ections of a work plan for energy needs.
Associated fee: $35,000

Task 2 Common Technical Platform and Coordination
with CWCB
Based on information produced in Task 1, the Consultant will work with CWCB to
encourage, foster and maintain a common technical p latform. This will include
working with CWCB to make sure that information can be included with CWCB
standard databases and tools such as the Decision Support Syst em and the Water
Resource Information Center .
Task 3 Attendance at Basin Roundtable Meetings, Project
Management, Coordination, and Administration
Project management assistance will include Consultant's Project Director, Technical
Director or Task Order Manager, and Basin Advisor attendance at two of the Basin
Roundtable meetings for all basins du ring March 2007 through June 30, 2007. This
level of support will include attendance at 1 8 meetings.
The Consultant will provided support to the DNR State Project Manger for
coordination and administration of the Basin Roundtable meetings such as:
