This is to provide continuity and single source
control for this important part of the project. The resource atlas will be prepared on the
I FSAR platform.

A Geographic Information System (GIS) is a powerful tool for assembling and
managing various types of spatial information. As recognized in the scope of work,
GIS is not only well suited for managing the data associated with this project, it also
provides an ideal platform for accomplishing some of the work items. Ayres Associates
has gained considerable experience over the last 5 years using GIS to support our
engineering projects. Our GIS experts in the Colorado office are engineers who use
the technology as a regular part of their "toolbox."

10
