C hairman Grossman: <br />Senator Isgar, the members of the <br />Committee have L001. <br />Senator Isgar: <br />Okay. <br />Chairman Grossman: <br />Would you care to move your bill? <br />Senator Isgar: <br />I would move Senate Bill 179 and submit it <br />to Appropriations. <br />Chairman Grossman: <br />The am endment, Senator Isgar? <br />Senator Isgar: <br />Please, Mr. Chair. Well, I was going to <br />argue that it is -- . <br />Chairman Grossman: -- <br />The motion is in order. Do you want <br />to move L001? <br />Senator Isgar: <br />L001. We weren't sure how much money there <br />would be. We just had that discussion. The original fiscal <br />note was based on sweeping the account. Well, that would mean <br />taking everything that was left down to, so the requirement that <br />says a two - year reserve so that we know we have enough money to <br />fund the operation [unint elligible] decision. <br />But, that number is so up in the air with everybody <br />[unintelligible] taking money out of there that we thought it <br />would be more prudent to have an amendment that just -- if we're <br />going to start with $10 million, we're not even sure ther e’ll be <br />$10 million. We didn't want to not get any because there wasn't <br />$10 million, so we said, "Up to $10 million." And that's what <br />001 would do. <br />- 27 - <br /> <br />
