Would you care to move your bill?
Senator Isgar:
I would move Senate Bill 179 and submit it
to Appropriations.
Chairman Grossman:
The am endment, Senator Isgar?
Senator Isgar:
Please, Mr. Chair. Well, I was going to
argue that it is -- .
Chairman Grossman: --
The motion is in order. Do you want
to move L001?
Senator Isgar:
L001. We weren't sure how much money there
would be. We just had that discussion. The original fiscal
note was based on sweeping the account. Well, that would mean
taking everything that was left down to, so the requirement that
says a two - year reserve so that we know we have enough money to
fund the operation [unint elligible] decision.
But, that number is so up in the air with everybody
[unintelligible] taking money out of there that we thought it
would be more prudent to have an amendment that just -- if we're
going to start with $10 million, we're not even sure ther e’ll be
$10 million. We didn't want to not get any because there wasn't
$10 million, so we said, "Up to $10 million." And that's what
001 would do.
