The results of a feasibility study
prepared by WWE for the new Long Hollow
dam and reservoir were presented.

Our feasibility study concluded that the
proposed project is technically and economically
feasible and can be constructed in accordance
with state and federal environmental
regulations. A unique aspect of this project is
the ability to improve administration of the
ColoradolNew Mexico Compact on the La Plata
River.

SILVER CREEK SKI AREA

WWE has been involved with Silver Creek
Water & Sanitation District's source water
supply since the inception of the resort as Val
Moritz in the early 1970s. Currently, we have
completed a design for Well Number 4 and
submitted it to the Colorado Department of
Public Health and Environment.

This new source water supply will play an
important role in serving the resort.

STAPLETON DROUGHT INDEX

WWE's simplified drought index using the long-
term Stapleton gauge shows that the drought is
not over. The index tells us that we need 4.8
inches of above average precipitation before we
can declare our drought over.

Rainfall Deficiency at Stapleton Airport

'" ~T.:.;1tittnr~"'''';~)

..
.LlllJ.J~..~

- - -.T....-lmJ "r"l,--r-r-r,
o..-u.
