This application encompases stream gaging studies,
research, gage installations, and equipment purchases,
as well as rehabilitation and replacement of existing
equipment. The purpose is for an integrated Statewide
Gaging System & continued operation of the State
Satellite Linked Monitoring System

This project entails the continued development of a unified CWCBIDWR gaging program
throughout the state and the immediate implementation of various aspects of the program
to provide data for CWCB's mission critical programs including Compact Protection,
Decision Support System Devel~t, Floodplain management, and Stream and Lake
protection. In addition, the project supports the continued operational viability of the
State Satellite Linked Monitoring System. (The attached Board Memo provides the
details of the proposed program and specific projects to be implemented.)
