Sealed BID(s) for the above-referenced PROJECT must be received at the office of the Urban Drainage
and Flood Control District, Attention: Steve Materkowski, 2480 West 26th Avenue, Suite 156B, Denver,
Colorado 80211, publicly opened and read aloud at 1 :00 p.m. on . Any BID
received after the above-specified time and date will not be considered.
CONTRACT DOCUMENTS, complete with construction DRAWINGS and SPECIFICATIONS, will
be available at the Urban Drainage and Flood Control District on , at a cost
of Twenty Dollars ($20) per set (not refundable).
Prebid meeting will be held at 9:00 a.m. on , in the Board Room of Urban
Drainage and Flood Control District.
No BIDDER pre-qualification is required for this PROJECT. However, upon evaluation ofBID(s), the
apparent low BIDDER must be prepared to demonstrate BIDDER's qualifications by submitting
evidence to the OWNER such as financial data, previous experience, authority to conduct business in
the jurisdiction where the PROJECT is located, and other requirements as may be specified in the
CONTRACT DOCUMENTS.
As its best interests may appear, the OWNER reserves the right to reject any or all BID(s) and to waive
informalities in the BID.

The 2003 SOUTH PLATTE RNER ROUTINE MAINTENANCE WORK includes cleaning
trash and debris, mowing, and trimming and pruning.

A provision has been included in the CONTRACT DOCUMENTS that allows the OWNER to
issue a notice of intent to renew the CONTRACT if, at the end of the CONTRACT, OWNER is
satisfied with the CONTRACTOR's work and is interested in negotiating a one-year
CONTRACT renewal, with a maximum of two such yearly renewals.
